Green is one of the best colors for those who want to have a bathroom in a vintage style but it all depends on the right shade. Retro green bathroom tile is the tile of lighter, more pastel-like shades of green and, usually, a square shape. It should look even, accurate and austere – just like in the days gone by. Our parents and grandparents liked the bathrooms that would stay elegant and simple at the same time so we need to recreate this effect if we want to achieve a vintage feel.
Mint green is one of the best colors for creating a retro-style bathroom. You can use it on the walls alone or in combination with other colors and shades, preferably black as a border or accent. Of course, the final result depends on your choice of additional decor items and elements – pictures and photos of that epoch, bathtub of a certain shape, maybe a shower curtain that would scream “retro”. If you are a woman who wants a 50s bathroom, look closer to green square tile for walls – it will help you create that “pin-up” style and atmosphere of the age.
A picture is worth a thousand words, and three dozens pictures are worth even more! So feel free to look at our photo gallery below and grab some ideas for retro green color to apply to your dream bathroom. Here is our new collection, the Year 2022:
Lego and Duplo rock. My kids can’t get enough of them escepially the basic make your own stuff rather than the cars or dinosaurs.Just out of interest what’s the plural of Lego? I’ve noticed that Europeans tend to say lego and Americans legos .We have quite a bit of lego but the new sets (even the Creator basic sets) don’t have nearly as many of the 2 8 blocks that I used to use to build everything in my youth. Now you just get stacks of 1 2 and 2 2 pieces. I need to find a set from 20+ years ago. (Just found my old metal Meccano recently and that looks as good as ever)Here’s hoping for a MindStorms set for Christmas
